Tour photographer available across Europe

Dublin is the base and the flights are short. I’m available for single European dates, runs of shows and full tours — live coverage first, and as much of the day around it as the access allows.

Dates, runs and tours

Three ways to book the same photographer, depending on how much of the road you want covered.

  • One European date — a single show away from home, covered like any other night
  • A run of dates — several shows in a week, one consistent look across all of them
  • A full tour — travelling with the party for the length of a leg
  • Local pickup — the Irish and UK dates of a tour that is otherwise covered by someone else

Dublin is an hour or two from most of Europe, so a single date away is a day trip and a run of them is a routing question rather than a logistics problem.

Consistency is the reason to use one photographer for a run rather than a different local each night: the same colour, the same read of the set, and an archive that looks like one body of work at the end of it.

What gets covered, and where the line is

Live and crowd coverage is the core of it. Everything past the stage depends on the access you can actually give me.

The show itself is the priority every night: the set, the production and the room. Soundcheck, backstage, load-in and travel are photographed where an artist and crew want a record of them — that is a decision for the tour, not a default, and it is agreed before the first date rather than argued about in a corridor.

Working style is straightforward: quiet, out of the way, no flash near a performer without agreement, and nothing published from behind the stage without a yes. A touring party has enough people in it already.

  • Full live set, every night of the run
  • Crowd, barrier and room — each city looks different, and that is the point
  • Production and stage design as it changes across venues
  • Soundcheck, backstage and travel where the tour wants it documented
  • Content cut for artist channels, press use, promoter recaps and the tour archive

What the live work looks like

Frames from the library — arena, festival and club rooms. The full set is in the homepage gallery.

Room

Three single nights: an arena headline set, a festival mainstage and a room seen from the balcony. A run of dates is that same job repeated in a different city each evening, with the same eye on it, which is the whole argument for one photographer covering the leg rather than a new local every night.

Delivery on the road

On a run, delivery matters more than it does for a single show: socials want the night while it is still the night, and a set that arrives three weeks later is an archive rather than a campaign. Files are edited and colour-matched on the road, full resolution plus web sizes, with vertical and square crops for artist channels.

Licensing is agreed once for the whole run — editorial, promotional or commercial — so every date is covered by the same terms and the credit line stays Zoltan Szabo throughout.
